The Footscray Traders Association (FTA) represents retail and commercial businesses throughout central Footscray to promote Footscray as a great place to trade, shop and live. A key aim of the FTA is to organise marketing, promotion, business development activities, and to communicate regularly - with business operators, property owners, and the wider Footscray community - about activities in the Centre. The FTA presents a strong, united and representative voice to government and other authorities on behalf of all businesses in the Centre. The FTA was incorporated as a not-for-profit association in March 2007. The FTA is funded via membership fees and contributions from sponsors. Annual fees for full members of FTA are $20.
